Tex Crick is an Australian singer-songwriter whose warm, off-kilter recordings have quietly built a loyal international audience. Signed to Mac DeMarco's Mac's Record Label as its first artist outside of Mac himself, Crick has spent the past several years touring extensively throughout Australia, North America and Europe. His music has received support from publications including Pitchfork, Billboard, NME, The Guardian and Stereogum.

Originally a backing musician for some of indie music's most celebrated artists, Crick established himself as a solo artist with his 2021 debut Live In... New York City. Since then, he has continued to expand his catalogue through a series of releases that blur the lines between classic pop, soft rock and left-field indie music.

His forthcoming work reflects the influence of years spent touring with a live band. While remaining rooted in the warmth and sincerity of his earlier recordings, the chemistry of the band now plays a greater role in shaping the music, signalling a natural progression in his approach to songwriting and arrangement.
