True Delusions was birthed from the ashes of Angelworm, a Twin Cities garage band. Our ranks dropped to explore nonmusical endeavors one by one, until it was only me and the drummer. We butt heads on numerous occasions. The “band” eventually exhausted itself.  I kept on writing music and recording tracks in my home.  I came up with what I thought was a lo-fi gem that won’t see the light of day any time soon. It was going to be called, “Cosmic Scent”. The results didn’t have enough continuity to be a proper album. It was going to be a double album too. Bummer….

Eventually, I wrote some new tracks about a budding relationship. I took some of the older tracks too, and went into my buddy Tony’s studio. He ended up co-producing and engineering my first album under the moniker, “True Delusions”.  Larry Wish played drums.   Dylan from “Teenage Strangler,” added distorted guitar.  My friend Steven played micro synth and bass.   I played some bass too. My roll was songwriter, mostly clean guitar, and layered voice.  Around this time, I wrote, “Song for Judee Sill.”  In tribute to her and her mastery of lyricism, I wrote this song for her.

I hope you like the songs. I am currently working on 2 more albums. One of covers, and one of originals. One in a studio, Minnehaha Recording Co., and one in my apartment.
