tori forsyth - self preservation

Australian singer-songwriter Tori Forsyth enters a defining new chapter with Self Preservation, her fourth studio album, out October 9 via Island Records Australia. Produced by Scott Horscroft and recorded live with her band at The Grove Studios, the record follows a run of 2026 singles including I’m Not God, You and Me, Guns and Little Girls, Notice The Roses and Today I Woke Up and Chose Violence.

With more than 20 million career streams, Forsyth has established herself firmly within the upper tier of Australia’s alt-country landscape. Her career has taken her from major Australian stages including Gympie Music Muster, BIGSOUND and Groundwater Country Music Festival to the US, performing at Kentucky’s Laurel Cove Music Festival and Sleeping in the Woods, alongside a sold-out Nashville headline show.

Forsyth has shared stages with artists including Ray LaMontagne, Shane Nicholson, Jackson Dean, Adam Eckersley, Brooke McClymont and Kat Hasty, and has collaborated with Australian country icon Kasey Chambers.

With Self Preservation newly released, Forsyth’s Groundwater Country Music Festival appearance will be one of her few live shows for a little while, giving audiences and industry a first look at this new era as she turns her focus toward select festival and touring opportunities for 2027 and 2028.
