Hailing from the rolling hills and surf-worn coasts of South Australia, until March 2020 West had spent the majority of the previous 3 years based in the USA: touring, couch surfing, unearthing any opportunity to perform and collaborate - good, bad and ugly and everything in between including getting hospitaliZed after a dog attack and a rushed evacuation to Australia on the back of a cancelled tour and appearance at SXSW music festival as the global pandemic was hitting.
Lauded by tastemakers like Mahogany (UK), Australia’s ABC and amassing over 7 million streams on Spotify in three years, 2021 will see West release upcoming album I’m Livin’ - a project that started in a makeshift studio in the lounge room of a house on top of a hill and ended in Nashville under the care of upcoming producer Collin Pastore.
