The music of Rave Ami is a repercussion; the result of three individuals pushing and pulling in different directions to form a harmonious union of tension and sound. Never to settle, the power trio has been consistently releasing music since 2015, beginning with the self-released “Exorcise” and it’s 2017 follow-up on independent label Wild Kindness, “Mock Pop” (both under their former moniker “Honey”). Having shared the stage with acts such as Wolf Alice, Bleached, Beach Slang and Speedy Ortiz, the band has established themselves as a formidable live force and will be hitting the road in October in anticipation of their upcoming Misra Records debut, “All Great Bands Break Up”, due October 19th. Produced by Rozwell Kid’s Adam Meisterhans, the record is a heady mix of catchy power pop hooks and aggressive instrumentation, assertive while contemplative. Be sure to catch them when they thrash through your town this year and the next, and keep your ears peeled for their tunes on the airwaves.
