Pearly is a band born from auteurs. Their music and videos inhabit a shapeless ‘dark-Americana’ exuding a hazy-dream ambience, which runs the gamut towards industrial aggression. On 7/9, Pearly released an acoustic EP of previous material called Mellon.

The title track describes the darkness of the country; deeply heartbroken and nostalgic. “Mellon” is accompanied by a video shot, entirely on Super 8, of a cross country trip taken by Pearly’s Austyn Benyak and Josie Yeager. The EP, which includes acoustic versions of “Machine Song” and “To Me”, will be released on limited lathe cut 7” records, featuring the band’s new drummer Dalton Edwards.
