OSEES have released their new album ABOMINATION REVEALED AT LAST via Deathgod–they have also shared new single "SNEAKER" and its accompanying video. The 12 tracks on ABOMINATION... are a pummeling, maniacal, and propulsive attack on the senses–a fitting reaction to a world suffering from genocide, environmental collapse, state sanctioned violence, progressing technocracy, and more. "Well this album just channelled out of the mist of atrocities swirling around the planet right now," songwriter John Dwyer explains. "AI empathy, genocides, social media data collection & addiction, the alignment of tech billionaires with the fascist overlords and their armada of dogs, civilians being kidnapped by bootlicking thugs, the death of due process...the list goes on and on. It's been a long year already."
ABOMINATION... and its singles have received acclaim from Stereogum, Aquarium Drunkard (review), FLOOD Magazine (review, premiere), Brooklyn Vegan, The Line of Best Fit, Northern Transmissions, RIFF Magazine, and many more. The LP was recorded by Enrique Tena Padilla, Mario Ramirez & Dwyer, mixed by Padilla and Dwyer, and mastered by JJ Golden. OSEES are John Dwyer (vocals/guitar/synths), Tom Dolas (guitar/samples/keys), Tim Hellman (bass), and Dan Rincon (drums).
The LP release arrives on the heels of ripping performances at the UK's Glastonbury Festival and LA's Teragram Ballroom. OSEES will also embark on a U.S. tour for the rest of the year, including dates at Brooklyn, NY's Warsaw (10/25 + 10/26), an additional show at LA's Teragram Ballroom (9/30), San Francisco, CA's The Chapel (8/30 + 9/1), and more.
