Bristol’s inimitable Getdown Services have released their new EP ‘Primordial Slot Machine’, along with hilarious videos for ‘Dog Dribble’ and ‘James Bay’s Hat’ . Already revealed from the EP are singles ‘Eat Quiche, Sleep, Repeat’ and ‘Chrysalis’ both of which have seen a flood of support for the duo from BBC 6Music, BBC Radio 1, Rolling Stone UK, The Line of Best Fit and DIY Magazine to name just a few. The EP’s release arrives off the back of the band’s biggest headline show to date at The Dome, which was completely sold out and firmly cemented Josh Law and Ben Sadler’s reputation as one of the best live bands in the country.

Alongside the EP’s release, Getdown Services have announced extra dates alongside their Autumn US, UK and EU tours. Almost all have now sold out, including their double headline bills in London and hometown Bristol, not to mention their four US dates in New York, Chicago and LA.

‘Primordial Slot Machine’ has also been released on vinyl with last year’s ‘Your Medal’s In The Post’ EP, which includes BBC 6Music playlisted ‘Dog Dribble’ and capped off a remarkable 2024 for the band. Sell out tours across the UK and Europe and a set at Green Man that catapulted them to the status of festival favourites. This year, they play Glastonbury, End of the Road, The Great Escape, Wide Awake and Live at Leeds, to name a few.
