Nashville, TN based Future Crib was formed in 2017 by Johnny Hopson, recording and releasing the first LP Stevie B. in his parents' basement before playing their first show. The band began to perform with a rotating cast of members, with anywhere from two to nine people on stage at once. Hopson recorded and released Beamish during the first half 2018, with help from freshman college roommates Bryce DuBray and Andrew Selchow. Bryce remained a permanent cast member on guitar along with Julia Anderson on bass. Noah Pope (drums) began playing with the band in the winter of 2017, and the four settled into the group that eventually collaborated on and recorded Friends in the winter of 2018. The songs on Friends surround growing friendships in the band, as well as the relationships the band fostered with others while touring with the material. While Nashville is home, Future Crib tours frequently throughout the US hoping to make new friendships in every city. Future Crib will record material for a new record in the winter of 2019, drawing from songs written over the course of the year that Friends was being prepared.
