In 2019, Elizabeth debuted her album The Wonderful World of Nature to acclaim both locally and internationally. The album was recorded by Elizabeth and producer John Castle, who has previously worked with Vance Joy, Hatchie, Angie McMahon and Cub Sport. The record garnered a great deal of support locally - being named in the top albums of 2019 by The Saturday Paper and the Herald Sun and receiving Album of The Week at RRR (VIC) and FBi Radio (NSW). Elizabeth was added to a multitude of Spotify playlists, with her video for ‘parties’ premiering on international taste-making website The Fader, with them describing it as "a forceful and resonant first single from the Melbourne-based singer-songwriter".
Of Elizabeth's debut album, Tone Deaf said “the language Elizabeth uses is straight-forward and unembellished, and it’s exactly this which makes her songs so poetic and affecting.” The Sydney Morning Herald gave the album four stars, noting that "diaphanous and unsettling, the album plays like a prom-night fever dream, drawing equally from Lana Del Rey’s melancholic femme-fatale persona and the hermetic fantasies of David Lynch", and the Herald Sun also awarded it a four star review. The Wonderful World of Nature received further glowing reviews from The Big Issue (4 and a half stars) and Vinyl Me Please, who described it as "a record that will hit you in your heart and your bones, if you let it." The Wonderful World of Nature was long listed for the prestigious Australian Music Prize.
Elizabeth has showcased at industry festivals Changes and BigSound as a solo performer, and also performed at Dark Mofo in Tasmania. Following the release of The Wonderful World of Nature, Elizabeth played 4 dates in the US, including a support slot for Good Morning at the iconic Baby’s All Right in NYC. Elizabeth has played alongside the likes of Beach House (US), Weyes Blood (US), Nakhane (South Africa) and Julia Jacklin. In March 2020 Elizabeth was able to play the Sydney and Brisbane shows on her album tour, before the remaining dates had to be postponed, which included Brunswick Music Festival, Grampians Music Festival, and Meadow Music Festival.
Elizabeth was a finalist for the APRA Personal Development Award in 2017 for ‘Popular Contemporary’ and her previous band Totally Mild (of which she was sole songwriter) were nominated for the 2015 AIR Award for ‘Breakthrough Artist of the Year’. Totally Mild were also long-listed for the Australian Music Prize in 2018.
